BLACK FLASH
A
small group of strangers living in different towns across America, each
with different backgrounds, is chosen. Some have come willingly, while
others have been taken in the dark of night.
Stark, shadowy terror suddenly invades their dreams and turns
their days into living nightmares. While each begins manifesting
startling abilities, uncharacteristic behaviors, and frightening
visions, they find themselves running from an unseen, unknown
enemy.
As the clock ticks down and a web of danger surrounds them,
threatening to ensnare them forever, a dark memory forces its
way back from their haunting pasts, a forgotten truth so horrific
they’ll fight for their lives to unravel its clues before
their dark enemy silences them forever.
THE REUNION
The Reunion has been receiving rave reviews. Here are a couple reviews of The Reunion.
"The story unfolds logically ... then moves ahead with increasing speed, until it roars to an explosive climax" Rodman L. Underwood, Death on the Nueces.
"Readers from southern Maine, and around the country can read Grant's book and can appreciate the persistent evocation of small town Maine, and more generally, small town America" Rebecca Lamet, York County Coast Star.
The Reunion was also selected as the Staff Favorite over the summer at the Now Voyager Bookstore in Provincetown, MA.
Book Description
Ocean's Harbor, Maine, is the paragon of a beautiful coastal New England enclave; a community with families rooted as deep as the sins, where dark secrets simmer beneath its vestal façade.
It's here that Stone Grey, a novelist, returns for his twentieth high-school reunion, hoping to put behind him his tumultuous youthful memories, and somehow find comfort in the aftermath of his brother's death. But that's far from what he finds.
Stone unwittingly happens upon a thirty-year-old murder mystery, and is stunned to discover that his family is entwined in its web of intrigue and danger. As Stone tries to uncover the truth and clear his family's name, he stumbles over the town's darkest secret--and soon learns that this haunting mystery is bound tightly to the town's other families. With the town's families closing in around him, Stone suddenly realizes that his crusade for justice may cost him his life.
